LINDA MANES GOODWIN
Contemporary Figurative Artist

ABOUT
Linda is a contemporary figurative artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her paintings celebrate the strength and confidence of women while exploring their unique beauty. She is known for her vibrant color palette, extensive use of textures and patterns, and play of 2/D and 3/D elements. Her training as a classical pianist also influences her work.
She studied at The Art Students League in New York, earned a BFA from Washington University, and furthered her artistic training in Florence, Italy. While living in New York City as a young woman she pursued her art. After moving to California she took a hiatus to raise her family. In 2019 she returned to painting with renewed passion.
Currently, she has a studio at Art Bias in San Carlos and serves as a mentor for their Youth Mentorship program. she exhibits her work regularly at galleries throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
